OWEL, HeeSun Lee as well as Zen Anton, Josh Salant (Salant Sound) & Daniel Chudnoski (Monster Over There) and Astrid Kuljanic will take the stage for an experience like no other. Held on Thursday, November 19th at 7 pm, at the world-famous Gramercy Theatre, MUSICOLOGY will be an opportunity to support local musicians, network with a one-of-a-kind crowd and enjoy music together all at once.

뉴욕 인디 힙합씬에서 유명한 HeeSun은 힙합을 통해 고정관념을 깨고 자신의 가치관을 노래하는 멋진 실력파 한인여성 래퍼입니다. 2014년 1월에 발매한 HeeSun의 앨범 “스테레오타입”은 아이튠즈 크리스찬/가스펠 차트 7위를 차지했습니다.
HeeSun Lee isn’t your average Hip Hop emcee. Lee’s story is unique in that she credits not only her faith but also Hip Hop for saving her life. “Hip Hop saved me from a lot of things,” she confesses. Her album “Stereotypes” placed #7 on iTunes Christian/Gospel Charts!

OWEL의 음악은 모르는 사람은 있어도 한 번만 들은 사람은 없을 만큼 매혹적인 보컬과 아름다운 사운드를 자랑합니다. 가을과 어울리는 감성밴드 OWEL은 2013년 데뷔 후 앨범 발매, 콘서트 투어 등 활발한 활동을 하며 많은 주목을 받고 있습니다. 최근에는 2015년 4월에 Every Good Boy 를 발표하였습니다.
OWEL is a 5-piece band hailing from NJ that takes a unique approach to instrumentation, incorporating orchestral strings and glockenspiel over traditional guitar, drums, and bass. The group’s self-titled 2013 debut garnered attention from the likes of NPR, Stereogum, Grantland, and Pitchfork, and continues to build a following around their vinyl release, powered by boutique label, intheclouds. OWEL released their latest EP, Every Good Boy, produced by Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter), on April 28th, 2015.
